Membership Details

The Blackmore Players do not charge weekly subs or show fees like most other societies. We charge an annual membership fee of just £15.00! The only stipulation is that you must also become a member of the adjacent Blackmore Sports & Social Club. The membership fee here is £10.00 per year for single membership, or £15.00 per year for a husband and wife membership. The bar in the Sports & Social Club is members only so your membership allows you access to the facility both during and after rehearsals!

We also try to arrange social events throughout the year, and during 2007 we had trips to the theatre in London, other local theatre productions, a bar-b-q and a quiz night! Our membership are always invited to these events and you are free to attend as many or as few events as you would like.

We meet every Wednesday in Blackmore Village Hall and rehearsals start at 8pm. We sometimes rehearse on a Friday or Sunday evening, but this depends on the show and the producer.
