Synopsis

The action takes place on the SS American, sailing from New York to England. On board are the beautiful American heiress - Hope Harcourt - and her English fiancé, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh. Stowing away is Billy Crocker, who is in love with Hope and is determined to try and stop her marriage. Also sailing are nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Moonface Martin (Public Enemy No.13) and they aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. The many disguises of Billy and Moonface and the madcap antics of all concerned keep the action moving swiftly along until all shipboard disasters are averted and romances sealed with a kiss.
